On the course, you will grow your professional portfolio, which will aid assessment, and enhance prospects.

Progress to higher education at a range of Universities and prestigious art schools across the country and the world.

You could also go onto a specialised apprenticeship or start your professional career in the art industry.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

We work closely with local community art projects and events which help to make a difference. Competition briefs take place throughout the course, growing your specialist knowledge.

There are a variety of trips including museum visits, art exhibitions in London and artist talks, where you will meet other local artists and grow your network for the future. In Year 2, there is even the opportunity to take part in a research trip to a European city.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities will be supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find opportunities that are right for you.

Students will be required to purchase an art pack, or the materials which come included in the pack. Prices vary and this can be discussed during interview.

This study programme can include GCSE English and Maths at a level that is right for you. This is worked on alongside your art studies, to help you be ready for employment or further study.
