Apprenticeships

An Apprenticeship is an ideal way for someone to kick-start their career and gain a nationally-recognised qualification while being paid at the same time.

Apprenticeships are also available to those who are looking to upskill or change careers.

At EKC Broadstairs College, you can study apprenticeships in:

  • Construction and the Built Environment

“I’ve really enjoyed working with this team. They’ve been very supportive and helped me find the Level 4 apprenticeship so that I could continue to work in this office on an apprenticeship programme.

“It has taught me what it’s like working in an office environment and shown me that I do want to pursue it further, which is why I looked for the next step.”

“I think an apprenticeship is a great way to learn because you’re learning on the job from people who have been doing it for years.

“As an apprentice, you’re allowed to make mistakes and learn from them because everyone around you has been in the same position before.

“You get taught by experienced people, and that’s how you improve and progress. For me, learning by doing is the best way to build confidence and develop skills.”
