Apprenticeships

An Apprenticeship is an ideal way for someone to kick-start their career and gain a nationally-recognised qualification while being paid at the same time.

Apprenticeships are also available to those who are looking to upskill or change careers.

My Apprenticeship Experience

Tim – Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery

During his apprenticeship, Tim showcased his talents at the KFE4Skills competition, an annual event bringing together Colleges from across the region. He competed in skills challenges designed to showcase his Carpentry experience.

He won a Silver medal on the day, and said of his success:

“It’s great experience, and it’s a good thing to put on my CV in the future. I’m always learning and whenever I’m doing something like this it’s a new learning experience. I just want to be the best carpenter around, and the College have shown me how to do just that.”
