Level 3 Diploma in Animation and Illustration

This course will be assessed through multiple projects that will build your skills in several areas.

You will then be issued a brief at the end of each year, in which you will be able to come up with your own project demonstrating your new skills.
Your grade for each year will come from the final project, however you will be assessed during the course with detailed feedback on how to improve.

This is a very supported curriculum that will allow you to be given clear development points on how to improve as you develop your skills.

This course can lead to further study at University, where you will be able to focus your studies further within the animation and/or illustartion world or within another creative field.

This course could also lead to employment opportunities based on the skills you will be learning whilst at College.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

We organise and join in on local media projects, which help grow your skills and enhance your learning outside of the classroom. Students can record in-college projects in other departments as part of their portfolio evidence.

There are a variety of trips and expert talks, where you will meet people from the industry who can help you grow your skillset and your network.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities will be supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find additional opportunities that are right for you.

This course will be delivered in the new Margate Digital campus.
