Our new Margate Digital Campus contains motion-capture, photography and videography studios, in addition to equipment like green screens and graphic tablets.
On our Broadstairs Campus, you’ll use our purpose-built art studio and our photography darkroom.
Your course is designed so that you have amazing opportunities throughout the year to gain industry insight.
One example is our Level 3 Animation and Illustration course, which has been created in close collaboration with animation studio, A+C Studios, who are based in Margate.
They will be on hand during the delivery and will be offering work placement opportunities.

On your course, you’ll even have the chance to take part in skills competitions to show your projects and skillset.
KFE4Skills is an exciting contest between East Kent Colleges Group, MidKent College and North Kent Colleges Group students and Apprentices.
Previous categories have included Digital Video Production, and Photography.

“I love exploring the ideas I have and putting them down on paper, as well as experimenting with different materials and seeing how I can use them in my work.

“One of the main reasons I came here is because it has the newest courses around. It also has new facilities, a massive area downstairs, lots of computers, lots of camera, and art tablets to practice drawing on.
“Working with A+C Studios is pretty good. If you go onto their website now, they’ve released the project I was working on. It’s an Italian ad where I created all of the crumbs. I’ve never done something like that, and it’s made me want to do more. I was there making props and designs which is really cool too.”
