The Salon Academy is the perfect place to unwind and get that little bit of time just for yourself – without breaking the bank.
Make an Appointment
Appointments are available throughout term time, but at certain points in the academic year, some appointments may be unavailable. Visitors should first report to the College’s reception area.
We have a large drop-off/pick-up area. There is parking at the front of the College, just behind The Yarrow Hotel.

Our salons, located across our campuses in Ashford, Broadstairs, Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone, and Sheppey, offer a unique environment where our hair and beauty students gain valuable hands-on experience by delivering treatments to members of the public. These services are carried out under the close guidance of qualified industry professionals.
While we strive to maintain high standards of service, we kindly remind you that these are training salons. As such, we ask for your understanding and support in the following:
- Services are provided by students in training and may not replicate the experience of an established commercial salon.
- Appointments may occasionally need to be rescheduled or cancelled at short notice due to training requirements or unforeseen circumstances.
- Treatment times may take longer than in commercial salons, as students are developing their skills under supervision.
- Results may not always fully meet your expectations; however, we will do our best to address any concerns at the time or offer a follow-up appointment where appropriate.
At EKC Group, we also value freedom of opinion and speech. However, to ensure a respectful and inclusive environment for all clients, students, and staff, we kindly ask that all language used in the salon remains courteous and appropriate at all times.
