1. Software Engineer

Software Engineers design, build, and test computer programs for business, education, and other services.   

    During a typical day, you could:

    • Write or amend computer code
    • Test software, diagnose problems and fix them
    • Meet with clients and development teams to discuss project requirements
    • Be part of the technical design and process
    • Keep a record of the development process, changes, and results
    • Perform quality checks and trials before software is released

    You could work in-house for a business or organisation, for a specialist agency, or for yourself as a freelance consultant or business owner.

    2. Web Developer

    Web Developers build reliable and high-performing websites, apps, and services that can be accessed over the internet.
