How to apply

You can make up to five applications across East Kent Colleges Group’s family of Colleges.

Once you’ve submitted your first application, you can add more by selecting the ‘Create a new one-page application’ button in your applicant portal and choosing another course.

Each application is considered individually, so applying early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred course.

Applications open on Monday 27 October.

To give yourself the best chance of securing your preferred course, apply as early as possible.

Applications submitted on or after 1 June will be treated as a late application.

If you’re unsure, we recommend attending an Open Day before applying so you can make an informed choice and apply early.

These run throughout the year, starting in November, and give you a great opportunity to see the amazing facilities, talk to tutors and get a better understanding of what our College can offer you.

If you’re on the waitlist, you may be offered a place if one becomes available.

Applying early gives you the best chance at being offered a place on your chosen course.

An Applicant Day is your opportunity to explore the College, learn more about your chosen subject area, meet your tutors and take part in an interactive activity and a mini interview.

On the day, head to reception and our friendly team will guide you from there.

Yes, of course you can attend more than one Applicant Day.

If you apply for more than one course, you’ll need to attend an Applicant Day for each course in order to receive a decision on each application.

After you’ve attended your Applicant Days, you’ll only be able to accept one offer from an East Kent Colleges Group College.

This is course dependant although comfortable clothes and shoes are advised.

If you’ll be working in a workshop or studio please wear closed toe shoes.
