Rebecca has worked in strategic leadership roles within the Kent and Medway Voluntary, Charity and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector for over 20 years and became Chief Executive of Social Enterprise Kent (SEK) in 2023.


Deeply rooted in East Kent, Rebecca is passionate about strengthening communities, creating opportunities, and inspiring the next generation. With a Master’s degree in HRM Business Partnership, a postgraduate diploma in management, and an adult teaching qualification, she combines academic insight with practical expertise.


Alongside her role at SEK, Rebecca is a member of the Kent VCSE Steering Group and the Thanet Regeneration Partnership Board, ensuring the voice of the VCSE sector is represented in shaping local strategy and investment.

She is particularly committed to education and skills development, believing in the power of learning to unlock potential and create brighter futures for young people across East Kent.
