Paul Owen
Having spent a number of years working in Primary Education, Paul started in FE as a Facilitator for Autism, developing the Hub provision at EKC Folkestone College.
Paul then went onto become Head of Student Assessment and Support, developing the provision across the college for students with additional learning needs. Following this, Paul became Head of Curriculum, teaching across both Early Years and Health and Social Care before undertaking the role of Deputy Principal.
Paul also holds the role of Principal PROACT-SCIPr-UK® Instructor and is passionate about the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support philosophies. Paul is passionate about ensuring students are supported holistically and given the right opportunities to achieve their full potential.
Paul is married with two children and is an avid follower of Welsh rugby. Paul is a passionate movie fan, enjoying a range of different genres and styles. Paul plays the guitar and has a particular interest in 90’s Indie rock and music from the Brit Pop era.
